Petzl Absorbica

The Petzl Absorbica is a compact fall arrest device designed to be used in combination with a fall arrest lanyard, including an energy absorber, and, for example, the Petzl Jane lifeline.

Because this fall arrest device tears out in stages during a fall, the forces exerted on your body are absorbed and reduced to an acceptable level.

Thanks to the integrated fall indicator, you can easily determine whether your fall arrest device has been overloaded and whether it should be taken out of service.

• Comes with a rubber string to keep the carabiner/link connecting the fall arrest device to the harness in the correct position and to protect the Absorbica from wear and tear caused by friction.
• A sturdy zipped bag protects the fall arrestor from dirt and damage. This zipped bag also allows for visual inspection of the fall arrestor.
• You can assemble your own desired type of fall arrest lanyards, single or double line, up to a maximum length of 2 metres (including carabiners/links).
• Depending on the intensity of use, you can either connect the fall arrestor to your harness using a carabiner or a swivel anti-torsion link such as the Petzl Swivel Open.
• Suitable for users weighing between 60 and 140 kg
• Length: 14 cm
• Length after full tear: 120 cm
• Important: You must take into account the minimum free fall distance, which depends on how you assemble your fall arrest lanyards.
