Miller MightEvac

The Miller MightEvac is a fall arrest block with a 15-metre cable equipped with a rescue winch. The fall arrest block can be used regularly as fall protection for a person weighing up to 140 kg. In the event of an emergency, the rescue winch can be activated so that the person can be safely hoisted up or down.

Vertical use
This fall arrester is designed for vertical use and must always be attached to an anchor point above the user. Provided that the correct mounting bracket is attached, the fall arrester can also be used in combination with a Miller Durahoist 3Pod or DBI Sala 5 Piece Davit High Capacity system. With the addition of the rescue winch function, this fall block can be used for emergency evacuation, allowing the person in question to be hoisted both up and down. This rescue winch is easy to operate and provides a hoisting advantage of 4:1 (average speed: 7.6 metres per minute).

Strong housing, compact design
The housing of the Miller MightEvac is made of aluminium and features stainless steel components for protection against corrosion. The annual inspection of this block can be carried out visually by a certified inspector; the block does not need to be opened annually, which saves time and money. The fall block is also equipped with a practical carrying handle.

Stainless steel or galvanised
The Miller MightEvac is available with a stainless steel or galvanised cable. On request, this fall arrest block with rescue winch is also available in a 30 or 40 metre version. Please contact us for more information.
