3M DBI Sala 5 Piece Davit High Capacity

The 3M DBI Sala 5 Piece Davit High Capacity system is a modular Davit system with various applications for access to and rescue from confined spaces. Easy and quick to assemble with various options for attaching a fall arrest block and/or winch.

Range/dimensions
The 3M DBI Sala 5 Piece Davit High Capacity system is a complete Davit system with a maximum height of 254.2 cm (short reach) or 280.5 cm (long reach). The system is designed for entering and exiting manholes and confined spaces. It was updated in May 2018 to meet the needs of the ever-changing workplace. Short Reach or Long Reach
The 3M DBI Sala 5 Piece Davit High Capacity system is available in 2 different versions: Short Reach and Long Reach.

• The Short Reach has a mast base with a maximum width of 189.9 cm and an arm with a maximum length of 72.3 cm.
• The Long Reach has a mast base with a maximum width of 261.3 cm and an arm with a maximum length of 113.2 cm.

Set composition
The Davit system has a modular design and consists of a number of separate components, making it possible to order individual components to expand or modify your current set. Below is a summary of the set compositions.

Installation requirements *

• Regardless of the structure, it must be able to withstand a vertical load of 13.79 kN.
• The structure must be sufficiently horizontal to allow the 3-piece mast base to be levelled after adjusting the base height.
• The base height adjustment is 160 cm for the 8000104 and 140 cm for the 8000105.

Confined spaces are characterised by limited access, which means that both entering confined spaces and any rescue procedures require specific knowledge, preparation and equipment. In collaboration with the manufacturer of the 3M DBI Sala 5 Piece Davit High Capacity system, we offer you the opportunity to follow a product training course with various modules (also possible on location). Mounting brackets
The 5-piece system comes standard with 1 mounting bracket, the 3M DBI Sala Bracket winch, so that the digital winch can be placed on the mast. The system is supplied without a winch and/or fall block (sold separately). Please contact us if you have any questions about putting together your set.
