In addition to the standard U mast base, five different mast bases are available for the 3M DBI Sala 5 Piece Davit High Capacity system, which can be placed on or in the floor. Using these mast bases makes it possible to rotate the Davit arm 360 degrees, allowing it to be used at any desired angle.
Galvanised or stainless steel
These mast bases are available in a galvanised or stainless steel version.
5 different variants
The 3M DBI Sala Mount Base High Capacity is available in 5 different variants. This means that there is a suitable variant available for almost every situation, providing a permanent and appropriate solution.
- Floor Mount Base, for a horizontal structure on concrete or steel.
- Wall Mount Base, for vertical structures on concrete or steel.
- Flush Core Mount Base, designed to be placed in a 128.5 mm hole in an existing concrete floor.
- Flush Core Mount Base with Top Plate, designed to be installed in a 128.5 mm hole in an existing concrete floor with additional fastening using countersunk screw holes for a bolt-in installation.
- Deck Mount Base, designed to be installed in a 128.5 mm hole in an existing steel structural floor. Supplied with the necessary components for mounting on structures with a maximum thickness of 89 mm.
Cover plate
To prevent these mast bases from becoming dirty internally, a cover plate/end cap is available (DBI Sala Cap for Bases). This is easy to install and remove.
