The Miller DuraHoist 3Pod is a lightweight aluminium tripod that is adjustable in height and width. The system is quick and easy to install and can then be used above a manhole with a maximum diameter of 2.5 metres. The tripod has four certified anchor points, two integrated pulleys and has been tested for two persons with a maximum user weight of 140 kg per person.
Built-in pulley system
Two of the legs are equipped with an integrated pulley system. These pulleys can be used in combination with a winch or fall block. Because the pulleys are built-in, no working height is lost below the suspension point. This provides more space to hoist a person out of a manhole.
Suitable for different manholes
The tripod can be used with various manholes with a maximum diameter of 2.5 metres. Thanks to the adjustable legs, the tripod can be set to the correct height and width. There are a total of four different positions with a height difference of 25 centimetres per position.
Central release
All three legs can be unlocked and locked simultaneously thanks to the central locking system. The lock is located at the top of the tripod. Thanks to the lock, the tripod is easy to move (with one hand).
