Ikar Bison ABS 4 WH

The Ikar Bison ABS 4 WH is a rescue and evacuation system for use on wind turbines, masts, towers, cranes and other similar situations. The system is suitable for up to 2 persons and has a lifting function.

Controlled descent
The ABS 4 WH ensures a fully automatic controlled descent. The device can reach a maximum descent speed of 1.5 metres per second. Grasping the rescue wheel or safety line stops the descent immediately. The safety line is equipped with a hook at both ends. This makes it possible to perform multiple rescues/evacuations in succession.

Lifting function
The device is equipped with a lifting function. By turning the flywheel, you can hoist yourself or the victim upwards. This allows you to relieve the victim from his/her lanyards and energy absorbers or hoist yourself back up.

Customised lengths
On request, we can supply the ABS 4 WH with any desired rope length up to a maximum of 200 metres. The device is equipped with a wear-resistant semi-static kernmantle rope in accordance with EN 1891 type A.

Annual inspection
SafetyPro is specialised and certified to carry out the annual inspection of the Ikar Bison ABS 4 WH. We are also authorised to repair the device and replace parts.
