The Petzl Absorbica-Y MGO is a double lanyard (fall arrest lanyard) including a very compact fall arrest device and two MGO folding hooks (scaffold hooks). This double lanyard is designed to provide permanent protection against a possible fall when moving horizontally or vertically. During this movement, you can always move one line at a time.
European version
The European version is available in a short, non-elastic version of 80 centimetres (1260 grams) and an elastic version of 150 centimetres (1250 grams). Both versions are equipped with two integrated MGO folding hooks and one Petzl OK carabiner. The European version is certified according to European standards.
International version
The international version is available in a short, non-elastic version measuring 80 centimetres (1730 grams) and an elastic version measuring 150 centimetres (1690 grams). Both lengths are equipped with two integrated MGO snap hooks and one Petzl Bm'D carabiner for attaching to your harness. The international version is certified according to European, American and Russian standards.
Progressive shock absorber
The integrated absorber tears progressively in the event of a fall. This provides better and more accurate fall absorption, even for lighter users.
