3M DBI Sala Overload Clutch for Power Drive Digital Winch

The 3M DBI Sala Overload Clutch for Power Drive Digital Winch is a clutch with a limiter for quick and easy operation of digital winches. Only suitable for use on the 9:1 (4 m/min) drive shaft of the winch. By adding this coupling, the winch can be operated on the Davit systems using a cordless drill. This allows the operator to save strength, energy and time when hoisting people up or down.

Especially in the event of an evacuation, the operator can quickly and easily hoist the victim up so that he/she can receive the necessary medical attention as soon as possible.

Torque limiter
The clutch is equipped with a limiter, which protects the digital winch from damage due to mechanical overload. The addition of this 'clutch' ensures safe operation and prevents the operator from becoming unnecessarily fatigued by manually operating the winch.

Compact and lightweight
The 3M DBI Sala Overload Clutch for Power Drive Digital Winch has a compact design and weighs less than 1 kg due to the use of mainly aluminium. The addition of this product to the digital winch (DBI Sala Digital Winch) is a bonus in terms of ease of operation.

Power tool specifications
The cordless drill must meet the following requirements:

• Min. drill chuck size: 13 mm
• Max. drilling speed: 300 RPM (no load) > fixed speed drill
                                       0-300 RPM (no load) > variable speed drill
• Min. torque strength: 45 Nm
