3M DBI Sala Digital Winch series 200

The 3M DBI Sala Digital Winch Series 200 is designed for hoisting and lowering persons (up to 205 kg). This series of winches is specially designed for entering and exiting confined spaces. The winch comes with a removable handle that can be attached to two points on the winch for hoisting or lowering persons:

• Position 1: max. 4 m/min
• Position 2: max. 9 m/min (requires more muscle power)

Mechanical counter
This winch is equipped with a usage indicator (mechanical counter), which counts the number of revolutions of the drum so that the system can indicate when it needs maintenance. This eliminates the need to manually keep track of how many metres and/or how many times the winch has been used. This saves time and is less prone to errors than manual administration.

Triple braking system
The 3M DBI Sala Digital Winch Series 200 is equipped with a braking system with three independently operating pawls and a centrifugal backup brake. In addition, a friction brake is activated at a load of at least 2 kg. This braking system has a built-in indicator that monitors the brake pads for wear. If the brake pads of the winch become too worn during use, the centrifugal backup brake is automatically activated.

Power Drive
This winch is also available as a Power Drive version, which allows a cordless drill to be placed on one of the drive shafts. Please note that this may only be used on the 9:1 (4 m/min) drive shaft of the winch. With this version, a person can be hoisted up and down without physical effort. The clutch required to prevent overloading of the winches, the 3M DBI Sala Overload Clutch for power drive digital winch, must be ordered separately.

• The integrated fall indicator on the safety hook on the steel cable immediately shows whether the winch is possibly overloaded and/or has caught a fall
• Excludes mounting bracket for attachment to, for example, a tripod or Davit system
• Available in 8 variants: 2 lengths (42 or 58 m), 2 types of cables (stainless steel or galvanised), with or without power drive option (excluding overload clutch)
