Teufelberger Ocean Dyneema Loop T

The Teufelberger Ocean Dyneema Loop 7 mm T is a textile anchor device for professional tree care and work positioning. The product is tested to EN 795B:2012 as a transportable, temporarily installed anchor device for a single user and also complies with ANSI Z133-2017 for prusik loops. The T version with a length of 0.34 m is specified as a replacement part for the pulleysAVER and fImblCLIMB. The system is intended for work positioning and not for fall-arrest applications; the potential fall distance must not exceed 500 mm.

Standards and system role
The OD Loop is strictly intended for a single user and for personnel attachment only. Wherever possible, the anchor point should be vertically above the user and the system should be kept as taut as possible between the anchor point and the user to prevent rope slack. A new anchor point in accordance with EN 795 must withstand a force of 18 kN; the selected structural anchor, such as a tree or branch, must withstand more than 12 kN.

Materials and limitations of use
The product is made from aramid, polyester and Dyneema®. Aramid and Dyneema® are not UV-resistant and Dyneema® must never be exposed to temperatures above 60 °C. After use, the OD Loop 7mm (T) must be removed from the tree; the product is not designed for permanent installation. Use in corrosive conditions must be avoided.
