The Teufelberger Drenaline is a flexible static climbing rope (32 strands) specifically designed for tree climbing, with a diameter of 11.8 mm and a high breaking strength of 35 kN.
Single or double rope climbing techniques
The Teufelberger Drenaline is suitable for both single and double rope climbing techniques. Thanks to its low weight per metre and 32-strand construction, it is a very comfortable climbing rope with good control, both when ascending and descending.
Hardware
The Teufelberger Drenaline can be used with a wide range of climbing hardware and is highly regarded by professional tree climbers around the world.
spLIFE
The Teufelberger Drenaline rope can be ordered with or without 'spLIFE' (depending on the rope length). This is a combination of a sewn and split rope end. The advantage of spLIFE is that the rope remains flexible near the end connection. In addition, spLIFE is very compact and barely thicker than the diameter of the rope itself. Important: because spLIFE is so compact, it is not suitable as a stop knot.
Other specifications:
