Petzl ZigZag

The Petzl ZigZag is a mechanical prusik designed specifically for use during tree pruning.

• Suitable for use in combination with semi-static kernmantle ropes with a diameter of 11.5-13.0 mm fitted with a sewn rope end.
• Easy to use, the technique used is the same as with a classic Prusik cords pulley system
• The locking lever is equipped with a spring for extremely precise action when locking/unlocking the device. By adjusting the pressure of this lever, you can control the speed of movement
• Friction links gradually slow down, ensuring smooth movements
• Thanks to the pulley mounted on a waterproof ball bearing, excess rope can be easily retrieved.
• Equipped with an anti-torsion link to keep the device continuously in the correct position so that the rope is better guided
• Steel construction increases durability
• Can only be used on double ropes
• Upper connection point for easy connection of the double rope
• Recommended for use in combination with the Petzl OK Triact Lock and Petzl Am'D (Ball and Triact Lock) carabiners
• Use with rope compliant with EN 1891 A (semi-static ropes)
