The Skylotec Spark is a robust industrial descender, suitable for industrial rope access applications and use during rope rescue operations, and is designed for intensive use in harsh conditions. This descender is made entirely of aluminium and steel and therefore has no vulnerable plastic parts.
Fast descent
Unlike the Skylotec Sirius, the Spark does not have an anti-panic function, allowing for fast and constant descent. Thanks to its mobile flank, the Spark remains connected to the climbing harness during rope changes, for example, preventing the descender from falling.
Rope wear
The rope guide through the Spark is designed to prevent rapid rope wear and twisting/kinking of the line. This guide construction also ensures that thick, stiff, older ropes can still be used effectively.
