Skylotec ActSafe Power Ascender ACX

The Skylotec ACX Actsafe Powerascender is a battery-powered rope winch, suitable for the safe, fast and efficient hoisting and/or lowering of both persons and loads up to a maximum of 220 kg when using the new HCB battery.

Easy to operate
The rope ascender can be easily operated by the user themselves or by someone remotely using the supplied remote control, which allows the speed to be regulated from 0 to a maximum of 24 metres per minute. The remote control has a range of up to 150 metres.

Application
The ACX Power Ascender can be used for various applications, ranging from façade maintenance (in combination with rail systems) to rope access-related work and access to and rescue from confined spaces. The ACX is also suitable and certified for hoisting loads.

Various configurations
Various configurations are possible to ensure that any rescue can be carried out remotely ("rig to rescue").

Rope type
The Skylotec ActSafe ACX should be used with semi-static kernmantle ropes with a diameter of 11 mm and EN1891 Type A certification. You can easily assess whether a type of rope is suitable for your work yourself using the ACX Rope Test. This test can be found under the heading "Downloads". Please contact us for more information. We have the necessary experience to help you make the right choice of rope.

Double line
A rope brake is always used in combination with a second safety line, often in conjunction with a fall arrest system such as the Petzl Asap Lock.
