The Skylotec ActSafe Equipment Lifting Rope is specifically designed for lifting and lowering loads in combination with the Skylotec ACX Power Ascender. This robust 11 mm static rope has been specially developed to withstand heavy loads of up to 200 kg.
Application
In combination with the Skylotec ACX Power Ascender, this rope is approved as a lifting system for loads in accordance with the Machinery Directive. This rope is not PPE and must therefore not be used for lifting persons.
Design
The Skylotec ActSafe Equipment Lifting Rope has a sewn rope end at both ends of the rope. These loops are fitted with a so-called "thimble" (hard eye), so that the rope remains well protected during use. In addition, a sewn rope end is stronger than a knot, thus preventing the tying of an incorrect knot.
