The Skalt Propad is a full-body fall-arrest harness certified to EN 361, designed for regular professional work at height. The harness distributes arrest forces over shoulders and legs and is suitable for applications where users frequently work in a harness, such as construction, industrial maintenance and environments using fall-arrest systems.
Comfortable harness for frequent work at height
Within the Skalt range, the Propad is positioned as the comfortable option for users who regularly work at height. The ergonomic webbing layout around shoulders and legs allows for extended wear without significantly restricting freedom of movement, making fall protection easier to integrate into daily operations.
Fall-arrest harness with dorsal and sternal D-rings
The harness is equipped with a dorsal D-ring on the back and a sternal D-ring on the chest. Depending on the work situation, connection can be made to the dorsal D-ring (for example for energy-absorbing lanyards or fall arrest blocks) or to the sternal D-ring (for a guided-type fall arrester, trolley or rope grab on a vertical lifeline). This makes the harness widely usable as a fall-arrest component in different systems.
Click 1‑2‑3 closure system and easy pre-use checks
All Skalt harnesses, including the Propad, feature the Click 1‑2‑3 system with three main closure points: one on the chest and two at the leg loops. This simplifies donning and checking the harness and reduces the likelihood of incorrect closure. Visual inspection of webbing, stitching and buckles is straightforward, supporting both daily pre-use inspections and annual competent person inspections.
