Petzl Rig

This compact and self-braking descender from Petzl is specially designed for rope work by experienced users.

• Multifunctional handle that, depending on the situation, serves to
  - control the descent with the other hand on the free end of the rope
  - position yourself at the work site without having to place the rope over the device with a stop loop
• Integrated automatic return system on the handle to reduce risks in the event of an accidental unwanted action by the user
• Handle can be placed in a storage position to prevent the risk of snagging when the RIG is worn on the harness
• Features a click-lock system on the mobile side to prevent loss of the device. This also facilitates installation on the rope and rope transfers.
• Equipped with a tilting comb to easily pull through excess rope. This also offers the possibility of making a hoisting system reversible and performing short ascents on rope (with a Petzl Footape foot loop and a Petzl Ascension hand ascender)
• Suitable for lowering heavy loads up to 200 kg (only for experienced users).
• As an industrial descent device, suitable for semi-static lines with a diameter of 10.0 to 11.5 mm. For other applications, consult the manual (e.g. as a belay device for industrial lead climbing in combination with dynamic/semi-static lines 9-11 mm).
