The Edelrid Static Low Stretch 11 mm is a top-quality semi-static kernmantle rope suitable for power ascenders, personal fall protection and rope access (industrial rope techniques), among other things.
Skylotec Actsafe ACX and ACC
The Edelrid Static Low Stretch 11 mm has been specially tested for use with the Skylotec ActSafe ACX and ACC power ascenders; see also the document "ActSafe test certificate" under downloads. For this test, the Edelrid Static Low Stretch 11 mm rope was first soaked in water for 24 hours and then left to dry. This makes the rope stiffer and more compact, improving its performance in combination with the Actsafe power ascenders.
Rope Access
Thanks to its EN1891 type A certification, this rope is suitable for use in rope access work and as a safety rope for personal fall protection. This means that this rope can be used in combination with hardware such as the Petzl ID'S, the Petzl Rig, Petzl Asap and Petzl Asap Lock.
