The Petzl Captiv is a positioning bar that ensures that the carabiner is loaded in the correct position on the longitudinal axis and prevents the carabiner from rotating during use.
The Petzl Captiv can be used in combination with the Petzl ID-S (descender) or in combination with Petzl Absorbica fall arrest lanyards.
