The Petzl Bm'D Triact Lock is a lightweight aluminium carabiner with a high maximum resistance (32 kN). The D-shape of the carabiner makes it very suitable for use in combination with a descender, mobile fall arresters or positioning lanyard.
Rounded shape (keylock system)
This carabiner has a rounded hook and the inside is also rounded, so that no lines can be damaged or the carabiner can accidentally snag on a rope when opening/closing the carabiner.
Asymmetrical shape
Thanks to the asymmetrical shape of the Bm'D carabiner, it is ideal for connecting descent devices (such as a Petzl I'D S), Mobile fall arresters (Petzl Asap or Petzl Asap Lock) and for use in combination with a positioning lanyard. The carabiner is also suitable for use with the Petzl Captiv (positioning bar).
