Petzl Avao

The Petzl AVAO is a comfortable and versatile harness for professional work at height. This model is specifically designed for work positioning and rope descent. The semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops with contoured foam provide support during prolonged use, while the construction maintains freedom of movement during work. For fall protection and positioning, the harness features multiple attachment points and is certified to CE EN 361, EN 813 and EN 358.

Comfort and freedom of movement
Widely spaced shoulder straps help reduce neck chafing, while thin sliding straps improve freedom of movement. All contact zones use contoured foam and breathable material, including the shoulder straps, waistbelt and leg loops. The semi-rigid construction also provides stable support during use.

Equipment organisation and attachment points
The waistbelt is equipped with metal side attachment points, five pre-shaped gear loops with protective sheath and two slots for CARITOOL or the INTERFAST connection system. The metal ventral D ring is designed for a work seat such as the PODIUM or LITEPOD, while the ventral textile connection point allows installation of a lanyard with a RING OPEN attachment ring. Adjustment is quick and controlled with self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles and anti-slip devices.
