ISC R-Alf

The ISC R-Alf is a combined hoist and descent system specially designed for rescue operations and work in confined spaces.

The ISC R-Alf is equipped with an over-speed brake and therefore locks in both directions, allowing you to hoist or lower a load and/or person (or yourself) safely and in a controlled manner. If you release the rope or lose control, the ISC R-Alf locks immediately.

The ISC R-Alf hoist set is available with two single Prusik cords (3:1 hoist advantage) or with two double Prusik cords (5:1 hoist advantage).

3:1 or 5:1
The ISC R-ALF hoist set with a 3:1 advantage is a compact and lightweight rescue set, suitable for (short) pick-off rescues.

The ISC R-ALF hoist set with a 5:1 advantage has a higher hoisting advantage and is therefore suitable not only for rescue operations but also for positioning yourself (see video), for example as a window cleaner or for access to confined spaces.

This kit comes with:

• 1 x ISC R-Alf hoist pulley with over-speed locking function that activates in the event of excessive speed or uncontrolled movements
• 2 x Pulley (single or double, depending on the chosen hoist advantage)
• 1 x Semi-static line (11 mm Teufelberger Patron) with variable length
• With the 3:1 set with 10 m hoist height, you receive 41 m of line
• With the 5:1 set with 10m hoist height, you receive 61m of line
• 3 x Aluminium oval carabiner with triact-lock closure
• 1 x Robust transport and storage bag
• Maximum load: 2 persons (250 kg)
• Thanks to its unique patented system, the ISC Ralf is suitable for repeated use and fall arrest (minimum service maintenance required once every 12 months)
• Different lengths (hoist heights) are available on request
• The ISC Ralf is certified in accordance with ANSI Z359 : 4: 2007
• This set comes standard without a hand ascender, which can be ordered separately as an option, as can any anchor sling and/or large hooks
