The Edelrid Kaa is a ready-to-use pulley system with a 4:1 or 5:1 pulley advantage and an efficiency of 91%. Unlike many other systems, the Kaa is equipped with a webbing instead of a rope. This makes the Kaa the most compact and lightweight system on the market.
Lifting advantage
Depending on how it is used, the Edelrid Kaa has a pulley ratio of 4:1 or 5:1. The 5:1 ratio can be achieved by using the system upside down. More information about this can be found in the user manual.
Integrated swivels
The Edelrid Kaa is equipped with a swivel on both sides. The swivels ensure that the system can rotate without unwanted entanglement or tangling.
