The BEAL O’Light 3-Matic is an aluminium oval carabiner with triple-action automatic locking for professional rope access applications. Its symmetrical shape is suitable for connections with pulleys, ascenders and mobile fall arresters. The carabiner complies with EN 362:2005 Class B and EN 12275:2013 Class X. The version described here has a metal-coloured finish with gold-coloured accents.
Symmetrical shape for equipment alignment
The oval shape supports balanced load distribution and the alignment of equipment connected to anchor points. The aluminium construction combines a weight of 84 grams with a major-axis strength of 22 kN with the gate closed.
Automatic 3-Matic locking with Keylock closure
The 3-Matic system requires three consecutive actions to open the gate and locks automatically after closing. This reduces the risk of accidental opening. The Keylock closure prevents the nose from snagging on equipment during clipping and unclipping.
