The Skylotec Skyvest is a TÜV-certified category 2 PPE vest, designed for advanced fall protection at low heights, suited to professional use. The integrated airbag module, made from tear-resistant and reflective material, inflates within 200 ms triggered by an electronic sensor system and CO₂ cartridge with pyrotechnic actuation. The vest protects chest, back, spine, back of the head, and coccyx, and may be worn over a standard fall-arrest harness. After deployment, the inflator is replaceable by the user, enabling reuse. Battery life lasts up to 40 hours. The Skyvest is suitable for scaffolding, roofing and façade work and complies with EN ISO 20471:2013+A1:2016 for high visibility.
