Skylotec SKN BFD SK11

The Skylotec SKN BFD SK11 is a fall arrest lanyard including a fall arrest device, complete with hooks and suitable for both horizontal and vertical use, available in various lengths. This fall arrest lanyard is suitable for a user weight of up to 140 kg and has been tested for sharp edges (r > 0.5 mm).

Manual operation
The comb used to adjust the length of the Skylotec SKN BFD SK11 fall arrest lanyard must be tilted manually in order to move it along the rope. Moving the comb ensures that the correct length can be set for every situation and the risk of falling is reduced.

User advice
These fall arrest lanyards are equipped with a compact fall absorber so that they do not get in the way during use. They must be attached to the A-point (tie-in point for fall protection) of the harness, which can be either on the chest or on the back (depending on the harness you have). Moving the comb is easier if you attach the fall arrest lanyards to the front of the harness, so we recommend attaching it to the front so that you can adjust the length of the line correctly at all times.
