Skylotec Gryphon Ascender

The SKYLOTEC Gryphon Ascender is an ergonomic rope access sit harness with an integrated CHEST ASCENDER+ chest ascender, developed for rope access, work positioning and arborist applications. Its six attachment points support efficient rope progression, positioning work and rescue operations. The harness is certified to EN 358:2018, EN 361:2002 and EN 813:2008, with a maximum load capacity of 140 kg.

Comfort and support during prolonged use
The wide waist belt with breathable padding, pre-shaped shoulder straps and adjustable leg loops reduce pressure during extended use. Quick-release buckles on the leg loops and pressure relief in the groin area support a stable and comfortable fit during rope access operations.

Configuration for positioning and equipment handling
The harness features a sternal attachment point to EN 361 for rescue situations, lateral EN 358 attachment points that fold away when not in use, and a dorsal EN 361 attachment point designed to help reduce snagging on structures. It also includes two attachment points for a positioning seat, HOOK REST holders, four gear loops, six tool eyelets and four loops for carabiners.
