The Skylotec Gordon Rescue hoist systems are designed to safely hoist persons with a hoist advantage up and down.
Thanks to an integrated fall arrest mechanism, the system locks immediately if the line is released or if the maximum descent speed is exceeded. This means that the person being hoisted up or down is always protected against falls.
1:3 or 1:5 hoist advantage
We can put together the Gordon Rescue for you in various hoist systems. Standard hoist ratios are 1:3 and 1:5 with a hoist height of 5 or 10 metres.
A 1:3 hoist is often used for (short) pick-off rescues.
A 1:5 hoist has a greater hoisting advantage and is therefore suitable not only for rescue operations but also for access to and rescue from confined spaces.
Customised hoist system
We can customise various systems (including 1:4) for you with different line lengths. Please contact us for the possibilities.
This set comes with:
- Skylotec Gordon Rescue pulley block with fall arrest
- Ropes (11 mm semi-static in accordance with EN1891 A)
- Skylotec Rope Bag storage bag
- Required pulleys (2x)
- Required carabiners and quick links
- The composition of the set is similar to the images shown, but the type of pulley differs slightly and the line is equipped with a figure-eight knot + quick link (instead of a sewn rope end).
