Skalt Miniblock Scaff

The Skalt Miniblock Scaff is a compact self-retracting fall arrest block with webbing and a 2.5-metre working length, equipped with a large scaffolding hook for use on scaffolds and temporary structures. It is designed for professional applications in construction, industry and rope access, certified to EN 360 and suitable for users up to 140 kg. The webbing version has a clearly defined service life and requires periodic inspection by a certified company.

Compact webbing SRL with 2.5 m working length
The Miniblock Scaff uses webbing instead of steel cable. The 2.5-metre line with automatic retraction and braking function helps to limit free fall distance and maintain a favourable fall factor where clearance is restricted and anchor points are close to the working position.

Large scaffolding hook for direct anchorage
At the end of the webbing, the Miniblock Scaff is fitted with a large scaffolding hook designed for direct attachment to scaffold tubes and similar structures. This allows a secure anchorage point to be established quickly, often without additional lanyards or connectors, reducing set-up time for the fall protection system.

User capacity up to 140 kg for intensive professional use
With a maximum user weight of 140 kg, the Miniblock Scaff covers a wide range of professional users, including carried equipment. Combined with a suitable fall-arrest harness and correctly rated anchorage point, the block is a key component in fall protection systems for construction, industrial and rope access work.

Webbing service life and periodic inspection
For the webbing version of the Miniblock Scaff, service life is 12 years from the date of manufacture and 10 years from first use. The technical documentation also specifies periodic inspection by a certified company, at least once every 3 years. These requirements are in addition to pre-use checks and form part of the CE 0598 certification issued by SGS Finland.
