Skalt Expert

The Skalt Expert is a full-body harness designed for frequent professional use in work at height, rope access and rescue operations. This harness combines fall arrest (EN 361), work positioning (EN 358) and rope-access positioning via the ventral attachment point (EN 813). With its integrated sit and waist belt, rear and chest fall-arrest points and lateral positioning points, the Skalt Expert is suitable for intensive daily use by rope access technicians, rescue teams and industrial maintenance crews.

Combined fall arrest and rope access functionality
The Skalt Expert provides rear and chest D-rings for fall-arrest systems, complemented by a ventral attachment point on the sit harness for rope access and rescue work. This allows the same harness to be used for fall arrest, vertical lifeline systems, abseiling and suspended work positioning, provided a separate fall-arrest line is always connected.

Efficient three-point Click 1-2-3 closure system
All Skalt harnesses, including the Expert, use the Click 1-2-3 system with three main closures: one on the chest and two on the leg loops. This design simplifies donning, reduces the risk of incorrect closure and enables a quick visual safety check before each use.

Comfort for prolonged suspension and positioning
The Skalt Expert is engineered for users who regularly spend extended periods suspended in their harness. The integrated waist and sit harness distributes loads across the body and limits pressure points, while the adjustable shoulder and leg straps provide a close, secure fit without restricting freedom of movement.

Clearly defined attachment points for each task
The harness features a rear D-ring between the shoulder blades for lanyards with integrated energy absorber or fall arrest blocks, a front D-ring on the chest for climbing systems and rope grabs, a ventral D-ring on the sit harness for rope access or rescue devices, and lateral D-rings on the waist belt for work positioning or restraint systems.
