The SIP Pro-Gression is a Class 2 chainsaw trouser certified to EN ISO 11393-2:2019 for chain speeds up to 24 m/s. This model is intended for professional users who require a combination of chainsaw protection, abrasion resistance and freedom of movement during intensive daily use. The trouser features a revised fit, a 6-layer frontal protective system and a highly robust full-stretch TeXXion outer fabric. In addition, the Pro-Gression complies with EN ISO 13688:2013 +A1:2021 for general requirements for protective clothing.
Class 2 protection with 6-layer construction
The Pro-Gression uses a new 6-layer protective material for its Class 2 protection. The frontal protection targets the areas where protection is critical during chainsaw work. This makes the trouser suitable for professional applications where a higher protection class and controlled freedom of movement are required.
TeXXion stretch outer fabric and revised fit
One of the defining features of the Progress range is the extremely durable stretch TeXXion outer fabric. In the Pro-Gression, this is combined with a modern updated design, a more comfortable and more refined fit, and more flexible knee reinforcement. The elasticated waist, rear-leg ventilation zips, and reinforcements at the knees and ankles support prolonged use in demanding conditions.
