SAR Basket Stretcher Lifting Slings is a lifting sling set for professional rescue and evacuation work with a basket stretcher. This version has the same core design as the Adjustable Lifting Slings, but with an extra large connector on each leg to allow attachment to the side tubing of a basket stretcher. The set is approved for helicopter winching by the UK Maritime & Coastguard Agency and must only be used as lifting slings attached to the stretcher.
Attachment for basket stretcher use
Each leg is fitted with an extra large carabiner with a 48 mm gate opening. This allows direct attachment to the side tubing of a basket stretcher, making the set suitable for controlled vertical and horizontal lifting operations in technical rescue environments.
Approved for helicopter winching
The lifting slings are approved for helicopter winching by the UK Maritime & Coastguard Agency. Use is strictly limited to a lifting configuration attached to the stretcher and not for alternative applications or other load attachment methods.
