The Safetypro Ridge Anchor is a mobile anchor point specially designed for use on the ridge of a pitched roof.
Thanks to its sturdy protective cover, this anchor point is highly resistant to abrasion from sharp roof edges or rough structures such as roof tiles.
Application:
- A line (semi-static EN1891 kernmantel line) is connected to the ridge anchor at both the front and rear of the roof and then tensioned and anchored.
- One of the tripods of the ridge anchor now remains. This free anchor point is suitable for personal fall protection for two persons.
- For example, you can use a safety line equipped with mobile fall arresters such as the Petzl Asap, or you can attach a fall arrest block to the ridge anchor.
- Thanks to the Velcro construction, the condition of the anchor point can be properly and professionally checked both before use and during the annual inspection
- We recommend always taking into account the possible need to rescue or evacuate a person working at height. It is quite easy to install a "Rig to Rescue" in the above application, allowing you to lower the victim quickly, easily and safely from the ground.
