The Safetec Duck-R is used as a backup device for rope access work.
Easy to use
This backup device is very easy to use. Simply turn the cam and slide the Duck-R onto the rope without any effort. You can then release the cam, which will snap back into place thanks to the stainless steel spring.
Comb without teeth
Because this device is equipped with a comb without teeth, wear on the rope is prevented. This allows the ropes to be used for longer. The comb can also be easily unblocked using the nylon cord.
Rescue of 2 persons
The Duck-R from Safetec is suitable for performing a two-person rope access rescue (max. 200 kg).
