Petzl has released a new edition of the Spirit. Extra light, just as strong and just as reliable as you've come to expect from Petzl. The recesses at the top of the carabiner have no functionality. The opening has a special surface that allows the snapper to be opened naturally and easily. This makes it very pleasant to work with for sport climbing and multi-pitching.
Keylock system
The Petzl Spirit snapper is equipped with a Keylock system to prevent the carabiner from snagging during use. This prevents the snapper from getting caught on other equipment.
