Combining two pulleys and an anchor plate, the Petzl Reeve is a solution designed to simplify the installation of rescue systems on tensioned lines. Two pulleys with large sheave diameters and sealed ball bearings provide excellent efficiency when moving.
Anchoring options
The Petzl Reeve's anchor plate has several attachment options. At the top, there is a large opening for attaching a carabiner or sling. At the bottom, there is one large opening and four smaller openings with a diameter of 19 mm. The odd number of attachment points allows the system to be centred and balanced.
Use in a hoist system
The Petzl Reeve was originally designed for use in a rescue system for height rescue on a tensioned line. However, the Reeve can also be used in a hoisting system. In combination with the Petzl Maestro, you can create a high-end hoisting system (see product image 7 for illustration).
