Petzl Asap

The Petzl ASAP New is specially designed to stop a fall, slipping or uncontrolled descent. The Petzl ASAP follows the user's movements (up or down) and locks in the event of a fall.

• For use on semi-static EN1891 (Type A) lanyards and energy absorbers with a diameter of 10-13 mm.
• Also functions when the device is grabbed in a panic
• Works on both vertical and sloping ropes
• Moves very smoothly with the user up or down the rope
• Easy and quick to install and remove at any height on the rope
• The Asap must be used in combination with a fall arrestor (Petzl Asap'sorber 20 cm, 40 cm or Asap'sorber Axess) to absorb the energy of the fall by tearing the fall arrestor
• For specific rope access and/or other specialised work at height , we recommend the Petzl ASAP Lock

The Petzl Asap can be ordered in the following combinations:

• Standard: Asap without carabiners and without fall arrestor
• Asap + 2 x Petzl OK Triact Lock carabiner + Asap'sorber 20 cm (fall arrest device suitable for one person - max. 100 kg)
• Asap + 2 x Petzl OK Triact Lock carabiners + Asap'sorber 40 cm (fall arrest device suitable for one person - max. 100 kg)
• Asap + 2 x Petzl OK Triact Lock carabiner + Asap'sorber Axess (fall arrest device suitable for two persons - 250 kg)
