The Petzl Absorbica Vario is a length-adjustable (100-150 cm) fall arrest lanyard with an integrated fall absorber. This adjustable lanyard with fall absorber is specially designed for use in combination with horizontal systems (rope or cable). By adjusting the length of this adjustable lanyard to the situation at hand, you can limit the possible fall height.
Progressive absorber
The integrated absorber tears progressively in the event of a fall. This provides better and more accurate fall absorption, even for lighter users.
Customise
Because the Petzl Absorbica Y is supplied without hooks, you can assemble the lanyard yourself. This gives you a choice of different hooks, with possible options including the Petzl MGO Open 60, Petzl MGO Open 110 or Petzl Eashook Open.
