The NLG Ascent™ Haul is a heavy-duty lifting and transport bag for professionals who need to move rope, tools and materials in a controlled manner across tough terrain or up the side of buildings and rock faces. The bag combines carrying comfort during transport with a lifting configuration for vertical use. For use in regulated working environments, the Ascent™ Haul is load tested, third-party certified and built in accordance with ANSI/ISEA 121-2023, CE / UKCA, NS 9611:2022+AC and EN 1492-1.
Carrying, lifting and compact storage
The stowable shoulder straps and removable waistbelt allow the bag to be carried as a backpack first and then quickly converted into a smooth profile without protruding parts for hauling operations. Three lifting handles, including one offset handle, improve access during heavy lifts. The removable top ring allows the bag to be packed down more compactly when not in use.
Megatex™ construction and internal organisation
The body is made from highly abrasion-resistant Megatex™, up to 7 times more abrasion-resistant than premium military-grade fabric. A reinforced raised base panel with drainage hole, water-resistant roll-top closure and compression straps support use in demanding conditions. Internally, 5 integrated anchor points, external attachment webbing, dual colour-coded loops for main and backup rope, and an internal zipped pocket provide controlled kit organisation.
