The ISC Rope Wrench Apex is an advanced rope climbing tool for professional vertical access and tree care (arborists). This device is designed to enable SRT (Stationary Rope Technique) climbing with a wide range of rope diameters. The device is distinguished by its adjustable friction settings, easy-to-operate cam mechanism and practical swing-open side frame. The Apex is not suitable as a primary safety device or life support, but offers optimal functionality and safety for secondary systems and positioning. No tools required for adjustment; fully compatible with ISC tethers. Not CE certified – CE version available as a separate kit (KT282).
Adjustable friction setting
Equipped with an adjustable cam that allows the user to choose from four friction settings to suit the rope used (11-13 mm diameter), without tools.
Ease of use and safety
The swing-open side frame allows the device to be quickly attached to the midline, even when wearing gloves. The double locking system with audible click confirms secure closure.
