The Rope Wrench from ISC is a tool specially designed for SRT (Single Rope Technique) climbing in trees.
Ascending and descending
The ISC Rope Wrench makes it possible to ascend and descend in a controlled manner on a single climbing line. The Rope Wrench, including a double tether (connecting sling), is often used in combination with a pulley such as the DMM Hitch Climber and a prusik cords such as the Tendon Timber Prusik.
Good control
In combination with a foot ascender and a knee ascender, it is possible to ascend the climbing line quickly and without too much effort. During descent, the Rope Wrench provides sufficient friction so that the descent can be carried out in a controlled yet quick/smooth manner.
