Ikar ACB 1.8

The Ikar ACB (Accon Click Block) 1.8 fall arrest block is specially designed for use in fall protection in aerial work platforms.

Self-retracting lifeline
The self-retracting lanyard (which works in a similar way to a car seat belt) has been tested and certified for fall protection in aerial work platforms. The lanyard has been tested over a "double" sharp angle (2 x r ≥ 0.5 mm).

Specially designed for use in aerial work platforms
Thanks to the innovative technology of an integrated energy absorber, the force released at the anchor point remains below 3 kN. This is well within the standards for aerial work platforms (EN280, revised version), which specify the minimum resistance of anchor points in aerial work platforms.

IPAF certification
This fall arrester is recommended by IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) for use in aerial work platforms. IPAF promotes the safe and effective use of aerial work platforms worldwide in the broadest sense of the word – by providing technical advice and information; by influencing and interpreting legislation and standards; and through safety initiatives and training programmes.
