The Edelrid Ombilix 140 is a length-adjustable fall arrest lanyard including fall arrestor, complete with hooks, suitable for both horizontal and vertical use and available in various lengths. This fall arrest lanyard is suitable for a user weight of up to 140 kg and has been tested for sharp edges (in accordance with RFU 11.075).
Fall protection, work area restriction and work area positioning
Thanks to its dual certification (EN353-2 + EN358), the Ombilix 140 can be used for fall protection, workplace restriction and workplace positioning.
Use on flat roofs
The Edelrid Ombilix 140 fall arrest lanyards have been tested in accordance with RFU 11.075 and, in addition to vertical use, is also suitable for horizontal use on a flat roof, for example.
Replacing the ropes
Unlike many similar products, the Edelrid Ombilix 140 allows the line to be replaced. This is desirable if, for example, the line is rejected but the rest of the system is still in good condition.
