Anti-panic function
In the event of a rapid or uncontrolled descent, the anti-panic function is activated. This function ensures that the device locks immediately and comes to a standstill. To unlock the device, the lever must be operated manually again.
For static and dynamic ropes
The Edelrid Megawatt can be used with static ropes in accordance with EN 1891 and dynamic ropes in accordance with EN 892. Depending on the application, specific requirements are prescribed, which can be found in the technical specifications.
