Skylotec RollNlock

The Skylotec RollNlock is a compact, multifunctional ascender and pulley for rope access and rescue professionals. The aluminium device combines three operating modes: ascender, pulley and progress-capture hauling pulley. It can therefore be used for rope ascent, lifting or transferring loads, and building hauling systems for rescue and self-rescue. The RollNlock complies with EN 567:2013, EN 12841:2006/B and EN 12278:2007.

Three operating modes for ascent and hauling

In ascender mode, the RollNlock can be used for rope ascent in accordance with EN 567 and EN 12841-B. Locking the cam in the open position allows the device to function as a pulley in accordance with EN 12278, with the rope running freely in both directions. In progress-capture hauling pulley mode, the rope runs in one direction and locks in the opposite direction. This enables direct lifting and use in hauling systems.

Compact and operable with gloves

The shape and different colours of the side plates support intuitive handling. Switching between operating modes is also possible with gloves on or in difficult conditions. Weighing 90 grams and featuring a compact construction, the RollNlock can be carried easily on the harness.

The device is not a guided-type fall arrester in accordance with EN 353-2 or EN 12841-A and must not be used for self-belaying while climbing.
