The Climbing Technology Cric is a great invention for anyone who works at height or with ropes. The Cric is small in size but can be used in four different ways. Use it as a pulley for hoisting or lowering loads, with or without progress capture pulleys. Or use it as an ascender.
Ascent clamp
The Climbing Technology Cric can be used as a traditional ascender but is much smaller, lighter and more compact than many alternatives. A major advantage of the Cric is its versatility, ideal for rope access technicians or other specialists who work at height.
Use as a pulley
The pulley function can be used in various ways. To begin with, the Cric can be used to hoist loads and then lower them manually. If desired, the backstop can be activated so that you can hoist a load but the load does not automatically lower. A handy function has been devised to enable the load to be lowered.
