The ART RopeGuide TwinLine is a cambium saver that is easy to install in a tree from the ground. Using a throw line with a throw bag, you can attach the system to the desired branch to create an anchor point that can be used by two people simultaneously (when using two independent lines, with the people attached to either side of the system). The RopeGuide Twinline is equipped with a trapeze bracket and is infinitely adjustable.
With the separately available split ART line, the RopeGuide can be used as a short application (creating an anchor point at height), but also as a long application with an EN 1891 line (10.5-11 mm). In this application, the system can be installed from the ground with the required rope length.
Please note: the anchor point must have a minimum resistance of 12 kN for safe use of the ART RopeGuide TwinLine.
Single or double rope
It is fairly easy and quick to install two lines in this anchor point in a single operation, allowing you to descend on the system using single rope technique (SRT) or double rope technique (DRT). The second rope can also be used for rescue operations.
Integrated fall arrestor
The ART RopeGuide TwinLine is equipped with an integrated fall arrestor, known as a ZipAbsorber. This absorbs the force released in the event of a fall (fall factor 1) of1 metre with a weight of 100 kg, so that the force exerted on the body of the person falling is reduced to less than 6 kN.
