The 3M Protecta single elastic fall arrest lanyard is an elastic polyester fall arrest lanyard. This fall arrest lanyard is available in 1.5 m and 2.0 m versions, with or without a carabiner for attachment to the harness.

The fall arrestor is compact, which increases freedom of movement and ensures a relatively low total weight for this fall arrest lanyard. The fall arrestor tears in phases during a fall and is designed to limit the forces on your body to a maximum of 6kN; this is the impact that a human body can withstand for a short period of time without serious or permanent injury.
