The 3M DBI Sala Sealed Block Retrieval is a series of extremely strong automatic fall arrest blocks for personal fall protection, equipped with a rescue winch to hoist the user up or down.
The Sealed Block is corrosion-resistant, making it suitable for use in saltwater environments and in (very) heavily polluted industries. Thanks to the integrated rescue winch, the user can be hoisted up or down quickly and easily, for example after a fall.
The fall arrester are equipped with stainless steel end plates and an aluminium housing. Thanks to their robust design, these fall arrester have a long service life and require little maintenance. The steel cable can be replaced by the user on site if necessary.
The moving parts are protected by the closed housing, which is IP68-rated. This means, among other things, that dirt particles cannot enter the system and that the internal system is protected against complete and continuous immersion in water.
The handle makes these fall arrester blocks easy to lift/move, and the handle can also be used as an alternative anchor point.
