The Quick Link from Maillon Rapide is an oval quick-release fastener made from galvanised steel. It is available in three different sizes: 8, 9 and 10 mm.

According to the manufacturer's description, these maillons must meet the stringent requirements for mountaineering applications. The large opening allows cable loops to be inserted.

Quick Link (Maillon) is the cheapest way to attach cables to hooks. These have a sufficiently large opening to hook onto large deck eyes.
Nice product for the money, looks like it's well made. Not tested in the field, only at home in a test setup.
